DDSL U-9C win one, lose one, on a very wet morning. Well done boys.
Mount Merrion were the visitors to Abbotstown new all weather pitches this morning, in the incessant rain, but it did not dampen the spirits of the 2 teams who battled out 2 great contests in the hour allocated to them.
First blood went to Mt Merrion when they won the first game, despite 2 goals from Aidan Thom and Harry Maxwell. The second leg saw Celtic come strong, and goals by Gavin O'Connor and Sean Hosford sealed victory, which meant that honours were even at the end of the day. match action
