10C Sat: What started off slow for Castleknock allowing the opposition to score inside the first 5 minutes quickly changed to a brilliant battle from both teams until the final whistle. Conceding the goal didn't slow Castleknock down from looking for a fourth win in a row. Brilliant passing and lots of efforts raised the spirit of the players high on the pitch. Castleknock's first substitution Cillian was the one to make the difference scoring within minutes of coming on. Castleknock's second goal came from a brilliant run from Luke and he finished it with style. Some great defending from Kobe, Donnacha and Michael and great saves from Cristian meant it was 2-1 at half time. This led to a very exciting second half as anybody watching will tell you. Both teams came out fighting with Manortown equalising inside a couple of minutes. Brilliant passing and movement made for a number of attempts by Luke which on any other day would have been put away. Luke kept fighting and creating chances as much as he could and had an amazing game. Great battling from both teams earned them both another goal with Cillian scoring his second ending a brilliant performance. Some great support play from the wings from Jake, Rory and Cristian helped at both ends. A great performance in the centre midfield from Yousef forced Manortown to play the wings and had no time on the ball anywhere on the pitch. To top off a great match Michael subbed in goal for the second half and pulled off some great saves. Great performance for everyone hopefully the team can keep growing.
