A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made Friday night's Quiz & Raffle in Kavanaghs Lounge, Laurel Lodge a great success, particularly Gerry Kavanagh for allowing us to take over the place, the members of the recently formed new Fundraising Committee, and everyone who came along on the night to support the cause.
A total of 25 teams took part with 23 of these directly representing teams in the club itself, raising €2,100 in total between entry fees and raffle ticket sales. Click on QUIZ RAFFLE RESULTS above for all the raffle prizewinners
The feedback is unanimously positive, with many suggesting that this should be a much more regular event.
That will be something for the Fundraising Committee to consider when drafting next year's schedule of events.
