GREAT NEWS – Well done to our very own Antonio Mantero who this week qualified as a UEFA B Coach confirming his status as one of the best Coaches in Schoolboy Football. Antonio played his School Boy football with Castleknock Celtic, under the management of our Club Chairman, Brian Cummins, where he gained his love of the game before returning as a Coach to Coach and Manage what is now our U16 Premier football. Antonio is an example to any aspiring Coach. Educating himself to be the “Best he can be” Antonio has gone beyond the call of duty with the endless hours of Coaching he gives to his Players. Despite moving to the “dark” side ,sorry I mean South side, to live, Antonio, who has no children on the U16 team, continues to commit to sessions twice a week and on match days can be seen collecting and returning Players ,who otherwise would be unable to go to games, to their homes. Essentially Antonio gives 100% commitment in everything he does and we are privileged and proud, as a Club, to have him in our ranks. Well done Antonio.
