Another great performance from Celtic in their first home game since the winter break, running out comfortable winners against Palmerstown. Celtic dominated from the first whistle taking the lead through Jatin Ramesh with Cillian Hegarty netting Celtic's second. Celtic passed the ball well on a bumpy pitch and controlled the first half.
Palmerstown rallied immediately after the break and only 3 fine saves from Ben McDonagh kept the visitors scoreless at a crucial time. Conor Boyle and Brian Carolan were assured in the back line with James Murgatroyd and Ciaran Murtagh providing nice interplay with some thoughtful passes. As the half progressed Celtic came back into the match and the result was secured with strikes from Scott Sorohan and Malik Shushan before Hegarty netted his second seeing Celtic run out easy winners on the day.
