Castleknock entertained Marks Celtic who were lying fourth in the table and were out to spoil a nice day.
Castleknock started slowly but after 15 minutes a great strike from 20 yards out from David Onitiu gave the keeper no chance and flew into the top corner. This seemed to settle the home side and two fine strikes from Morgan Kynes and Jabari Crichlow put the home side 3 up at halftime.
Second half was much the same with few chances for the visitors and the home defence well capable of dealing with everything that came their way. A fourth from a corner came from the head of Kyle Roberts and with 15 minutes to go, David Onitiu was brought down in the box. Stephen Mason stepped up to calmly score from the spot in fine style. A sixth from substitute IK finished off a great display of football from the whole team. The short sharp passing was sublime and the wings were used to devastating effect. Easily this was Castleknock's best performance of the season and a repeat of this outstanding play will be needed if they are to stay on course for a league and cup double. Final Score Castleknock Celtic 6 Marks Celtic 0
