Castleknock Celtic shared the points away to Drumcondra FC in a 10-goal thriller (Charlie O’Leary Cup - Group Stages). Celtic were 2-0 down after 30 minutes but Luke Danaher pulled it back to 2-1 at half-time with a shot from outside the box.
Castleknock started the 2nd half very impressively and were soon 3-2 up following a header from Luke Danaher and a powerful shot from Thomas McDonnell. However, Castleknock continually spurned chances and were punished when they conceded 3 consecutive goals (including a penalty). 5-3 down with 5 minutes remaining, Castleknock struck a 4th goal through Rhys Hogan before Adam Kaiser drilled in the equalizer from outside the box. Final score 5-5. A very entertaining game that leaves Castleknock unbeaten after 5 games in this group stage of matches.

Castleknock Celtic 3 - Maynooth Town University FC 2 (Group E Stage of Charlie O’Leary Cup).
After drawing 2-2 earlier in the season, the spectators were salivating at the prospect of another cracker, and they were not disappointed. Castleknock led 1-0 at half-time following an early Aaron Hogan goal. Maynooth however hit back in the 2nd half with 2 goals in quick succession.
With only 10 minutes remaining and 1-2 down, Castleknock equalised through Mark Cole. But it got better when Winston Wang put away a very late winner to seal a tremendous victory. A great result against a very talented Maynooth team that moves Castleknock to the top of the table with 2 matches remaining.
