David Onitiu scored early in the 1st half in a very competitive & balanced match. Dundrum continued to press and were rewarded with an equalizer just before half-time. In the 2nd half, both teams had real opportunities to take the lead but the score still remained at 1-1 after 70mins. However, the introduction of Killian Ronan changed the outcome of the game. He was brought down in the box and David Onitiu converted the penalty. Killian then scored 1 of 4 goals which followed in quick sucession. Additional scorers included Sean Collins, Gavin Byrne & David Onitiu (finishing off a fine hat-trick). The 6-1 final score does not reflect the competitive effort put in by Dundrum who were unlucky not to have got more out of this game.
