CASTLEKNOCK CELTIC would like to thank all the Volunteers who helped make the Mini World Cup such a memorable and successful event. The Club would also like to convey thanks to JAKO and Bradys Garage in Castleknock for their generous sponsorship.
What an event it proved to be! Celtic's volunteers under the guiding hand of MWC supremo David Hughes delivered a fantastic event again for the community of Dublin 15. We were blessed with the sunshine and so it was shirt sleeves all round for the fortunate spectators of the almost 400 participants in this annual event, now in its 10th year. Jack Chambers TD and Councillor Howard Mahony were there to present the medals and trophies to the boys and girls who had demonstrated a marvellous level of performance to make it a great spectacle. They also received a prize bag of goodies. There was also a successful fund raiser for Little Miss Tessa's treatment fund, and the lucky winner of the raffle for a Real Madrid jersey was drawn out of the tickets sold - many thanks to Rav Lalloo, Tim McCormac and Graham Hopkins who organised the event in association with the Mini World Cup organisers.
