Celtic were left scratching their heads that they didn't take the 3 points in this league game. Celtic had won 4-0 against Pegasus earlier in the season, but they found themselves 0-2 down on the half hour. They were smarting after that second goal which had shaken them as they had been just denied a free for a blatant foul on Lewis Kilkenny in the middle of the park. Chris Whelan got possession on the half way line, raced forward and finished superbly. Shortly after, he was at it again when he was given a perfect ball by Lewis Kilkenny aka TAA. 2-2 and all Celtic. They had chances to put a lot of daylight between them and Pegasus. The half time whistle was a relief to the Pegs.
The second half again saw Celtic get the chances but they were squandered, and were made rue the missed opportunities when Pegasus finished when the chance arose. They doubled their lead late on as Celtic chased the equaliser. match action
