Director of Football, Lisa Fallon spent some time with the U17A’s during the week. By all accounts, every single one of the lads enjoyed the time and picked up useful tips during the session. So from all the lads, thank you Lisa.
The match in Porterstown was the reverse of the opening day of the season when the game in Donaghmede ended 0 – 0. Back then Celtic had a squad of 14 available. Today, due to injury & illness, we only had 11 fit players. Those 11 ran and fought for every ball for the entire 90 minutes.
Once again Celtic fell victim to the early goal from the opposition. However, heads never dropped and second half goals from Ciaran Buggy, after some excellent work from Daniel Ferreira and a winner from Cory Power following an assist from Darren Doyle ensured that Celtic took all 3 points.
