Castleknock Celtic were delighted with the success of the inaugural Castleknock/Easter Mile Run in Porterstown Park. There was lots of support, especially the sponsorship by Irish Rail and all the many people and organisations who participated. The charity Run raised money for Castleknock Celtic's proposed new All Weather Pitch, and the local support group, Dublin 15 Suicide Awareness. The principal organisers were the Curran and Ayres families who put an enormous effort into making this such a successful venture, for which both organisations are truly grateful. Thank you also to the many other helpers in the preparations and the day of the event.
