DDSL 13A1: Gerry Murphy Cup Semi-final: Ben Lowndes took his chance in the first half to put Celtic ahead at home to Kilnamanagh. The visitors equalised before the break. It was an evenly-contested game, when up stepped Aaron Long who shot from distance into the far corner to put the Celts in front. They doubled their advantage with 10 minutes remaining with a fine strike from Evan Nolan that looked like the insurance. Kilnamanagh made it a nervous final 5 minutes when they got a second scoring a penalty following a harsh decision by the ref. Celtic survived and now play Tolka Rovers in a repeat of last year's final. Well done to Celtic who cap a great Easter, having just returned from their UK trip which included a visit to Burnley's Turfmoor where they were introduced to the crowd at half time in the Premiership game v Spurs. match action/celebrations
