Celtic got their scoring underway early in their game away to Tolka Rovers in Johnstown Park on the May bank holiday Monday. It was Brian Dalton who set the tone when he put Vilius Labutus through to score after 2 minutes. On 6 minutes, it was Owen Akpiama who provided the assist for Ciaran McGarry to put his side 2-0 up. Halfway through the first half, Nomah Eredianu engineered the third when he laid it off to Owen Akpiama who powered his shot in at the near post, giving the keeper no chance. Celtic were in cruise control at the break, leading 3-0 and showing the signs of league leaders. MATCH ACTION
Celtic seemed to take their foot off the pedal in the second half and Tolka had a number of excellent shots brilliantly saved by Celtic keeper Andy Cunningham and one effort headed off the line by Adam Neto. At the other end, Celtic had a number of chances, including Nomah's strike which thundered back off the crossbar, while lazy play saw other opportunities go a-beggin'. Owen Akpiama did complete his hat-trick with close range efforts set up by Ugi Roland and Robert Lynch. MORE MATCH ACTION
