An amazing game in Porterstown between 2 very evenly matched sides. Celtic just edged it against Jobstown in Tallaght in the corresponding away fixture, and it was more of the same today. James Daly struck early to put the home side ahead to give them the advantage at half time. Jobstown hit back early after the break, and then went into a 2-1 lead and they were proving serious party poopers as Celtic strove to take another step toward the title. Celtic leveled matters through Liam Greally, action and the manager's nerves became a little more settled. But this Jobstown side are a resilient lot and they edged in front again, and it was squeaky whatsits time again. Cometh the hour, cometh the man, and up popped the prolific James Daly yet again, and he raced in to slot home to draw the sides level one more time. action There were great battles all over the park, as the game ebbed and flowed. Cillian Maxwell was putting in a great shift for his team, while Adam Fleming was a contender for the man of the match. Celtic were denied a penalty when their left winger skinned the full back only to be taken down, but no whistle. Grrrhhh. Then with minutes remaining, and a draw looking a fair result, James Daly and his team mates were not satisfied, and he raced on to a ball from Cillian Maxwell and it was cue for celebrations as he buried his shot to complete a marvellous hat trick. action Unfortunately the manager was not going to part with his match ball and James had to settle for a bag of jelly beans. Well done Celtic and they are now hot favourites to take the title in their first year together under manager Alan Fleming. 4-3
