This was a well-contested fixture. Celtic went ahead through Alannah Maxwell, but a lack of concentration at the back let the visitors Peamount Utd in for the equaliser to leave the sides level at half time. A fine strike from Liam O'Malley put Celtic in front, again Peamount struck back to equalise. 2 goals in the closing stages from Colm Ayres ensure that Celtic won the points. It was indeed a sound display from all Celtic's team which earned them the points.
