AFL/AUL U-19s: Celtic shade it v Charlestown
This was a very closely fought contest in Porterstown in the opening game of the Under-19s league campaign. Charlestown Celtic are the new kids on the block, but they were well up for this encounter with Castleknock. The hosts took the lead through Eoin Newman in the first half, but the advantage was wiped out when the visitors levelled things before the break. Midway through the second half, the tireless Matthew McEntee timed his run brilliantly to volley home the winner from an Eoin Newman corner. A perfect start for Castleknock's league adventure at Under-19s level. See Gallery for match action pics.
