A second consecutive win for the team this Saturday overcoming Fettercairn Utd 4 -1 at Porterstown Park. Celtic started the sharper of the two teams and soon led through a Malik Shushan goal in a crowded penalty area. Celtic doubled their lead not long after as Cillian Hegarty made it 2-0 with a lovely finish. Fettercairn slowly got into their stride but any good passing movements petered out as the Celtic defence stood firm. As the first half wore on Celtic dominated the play and added two further goals from James Murgatroyd and a second for Cillian before half time to take a well-deserved 4 -0 lead.
The second half was more evenly matched as Fettercairn tried hard to get back into the game but some excellent goalkeeping form Conor Boyle kept them at bay, tipping one fine effort acrobatically over the bar for a corner. Fettercairn eventually got their reward with a consolation goal but Celtic ran out worthy winners for the second week in a row. Well done boys.
