Celtic were unlucky to lose this match. They were 2-0 up after 10 minutes with 2 goals from Cian da Costa. The second goal was excellent with some quick short passing in midfield before the ball was sent out to the wing for Dylan Osborne to hit a fine cross which Cian (coming from midfield) was able to tuck away - excellent play boys - just like on the training ground!
Orchard Celtic were playing with the wind and caught the goal keeper, Adam Geraghty, out of position and scored a goal from nothing. Then a few minutes later they got a free kick just outside the box - they sent in a nice ball and there was that man again - Cian - to head it into the top corner! Oh no - it was the wrong end : 2-2 at halftime.
Orchard Celtic scored early in the second half to lead 3-2 and despite continued good play from Castleknock they could not get the equaliser. Overall the result was harsh on Castleknock but the team can be proud of the way they played the game!
