With 4 key players missing this was a tricky fixture for Celtic against a vastly improved Leicester side. Windy conditions and luscious green grass made for a scrappy game that Celtic started well in, but were pegged back by a Leicester side, revived by their activity in the January transfer window.
Great team goal off the training pitch, created by Great Imole, & Klevis Malaj for Danny O'Mahoney to open the scoring. Both Great & Danny rattled the crossbar in the first half before Celtic traded further goals for Klevis to give us a half time lead.
Against the wind in the second half, it was all about solid defence, Hammad, Liam, Chuck & Darren, ably supported by MOM Kacem.
Special mention to a Manuel Neuer performance for Sabin in goal, and tireless running by Scott, Craig & Dino., on the counter. Another big crowd enjoyed a tense and very enjoyable win, for the lads who managed the injury crisis admirably.
