DDSL 12D: Celtic overcome Sheriff YC to progress in Cup. 4-1
This was a cracking game of football between Castleknock Celtic and Sheriff YC in Fairview. Celtic went 0-1 down against the run of play in the 1st half, but they did not let their heads down. The 2nd half saw Celtic continue to dominate despite being behind, and Jack Murphy's equaliser mid way through the half was no more than they deserved. Extra time followed regulation time. Kelvin Oriwe's two strikes and one from Colm Ayres sealed a great performance and the win sees Celtic in the draw for the second round of the DDSL Cup. Manager David Curran was full of praise for the dedication of his squad whose great efforts at training had paid dividends in this game when their superior fitness told.
