DDSL 11F: Despite valiant efforts by Celtic, including goal attempts by Aaron O'Reilly, Aidan Thom, Kalin Doherty, David and Sean Hosford, they were outgunned by Dalkey Utd in Porterstown. Aidan Thom played the whistle which enabled him to strike home for Celtic's only goal. 1-4
DDSL 11F1 Sun: Titanic encounter for Celtic away to Clontarf which ends in draw. 1-1 read on
DDSL 12A Sat: St John Bosco fought back to win this Hillary Cup tie in Porterstown. Celtic had led for three quarters of the game, but Bosco equalised 15 mins into the second half, and it was no surprise, given the amount of their possession, that they won the game. The winner however was controversial which resulted from a penalty awarded after Dauda Danson who had raised his hand to protect his face which had resulted in the boy getting a gashed lip. 1-2
DDSL 12C: Celtic have narrow victory over Ardmore Rovers in Porterstown. 4-3 read on
DDSL 12-4: Palmerstown FC are no match for Celtic who hit 9 past the visitors in this Hackett Cup game. 9-1
DDSL 13Major: Celtic earn share of the points in away draw v Home Farm. 2-2
DDSL 13B: Celtic couldn't take their chances today, despite a spirited performance from the hard working midfield of Tristan, Dino & Kacem. Two superb strikes from Jobstown gave keeper Sabin Ghet no chance, and the solid defending of Chuck, Brendan, Darren & Alasdair ensured a quiet day for the Celtic keeper. Great debuts from David & Dylan Coyne showed the crowd a sign of the future, and despite a cool finish from Great Imole, & good efforts from Scott Doyle, U13B just couldn't quite close out the game. Plenty of positives today, not least the sight of Klevis Malaj recovering from a bad knock, with him currently being the only fit striker. Well Done to all for answering the call and allowing us to give Jobstown a competitive game.
DDSL 14Major: Knocklyon take their chances and take the points with deserved victory. 0-3 read on
DDSL 15 Elite: Celtic take the points with narrow win away to Drogheda Boys, despite below par performance. 2-1
NDSL 16B: Celtic reach Semi-Final of Ita Farrell Cup. U16B earned a hard fought victory in this quarter final against a very well organised Baldoyle Utd . The first half saw few chances for either side and Celtic were duly rewarded for their efforts when Liam Tobin latched on to a through ball to steer the ball into the net. Half Time 0:1 The second half again produced few chances but a much improved team effort from Celtic kept the home side at bay . Daniel Fagan eased the pressure on the team when he scored Celtics second midway through the second half. From then on, it was a case of maintaining the lead and each and every one of the team played their part over the final 20 minutes. Final Score 2-0
