As the first half of the season draws to a close Celtic took on Belvedere at Porterstown in a friendly running out convincing winners by five goals to one. Celtic went ahead early in the game when Malik Shushan scored the opener, before he quickly added a second, a thundering strike from outside the box that crashed in of the underside of the bar. Celtic were in control as Brian Carolan & Ben McDonagh doubled Celtic's lead taking them into the break 4 - 0 up.
Having had little to do in goal in the first half James Murgatroyd made it five after the restart dribbling down the left before calmly finishing the chance. Belvedere proved tougher opposition in the second period and deservedly got themselves on the score-sheet twice but the result was never in doubt and Celtic ran out comfortable winners at the final whistle.
