First 15min Celtic were in command, with Alvarro Minero & James Bannerman going close on a number of occasions, but Lakelands battled hard and held the home side at bay. 15mins in, captain Ren Mulligan headed his first. 5mins later Pedro Minero delivered a great cross into the box. Ren headed in his 2nd 5 mins later after some fine tackling by Ruben Aherne. Pedro put in a high shot into box and it went over keeper to make it 3-0 at half time.
Into the 2nd half and 5 mins in, a goalmouth scuffle and Ren sidefooted in for his 3rd - happy days for the Mulligan family. Meantime, Rei Mulligan in goals came out to foil some Lakelands' attacks. Ahmad Niazi, Joseph Dunne and Conor Lawless comfortably ensured that there was another clean sheet for Celtic. Daniel Ibitoya frustrated the opponents' midfield attacks and then his brother Dylan slotted abcool pass from left of box into Joseph Dunne who left footed neatly into bottom left corner. Soon after, Kleo Malaj looped a lovely ball over the Lakelands' keeper which rebounded off post and Costel Burlacu pounced for Celtic's sixth. Some great saves by the Lakelands' keeper kept Celtic at bay for the remainder of the game.
