Celtic took on their North County Dublin rivals Skerries Town in a New Year showdown. It was a cracking game with Celtic battling for every ball. Though Skerries ran out the eventual winners, it was a great occasion held at the new Abbotstown National Sports Campus all weather complex on perfect surfaces. Skerries scorers were Adam Clinton, Harley Williams, Sam Gahan, Chidozeum Enyoazu, and Ryan Deane. On the mark for Celtic were Callum Daly, Ronan Wells, and Liam Nwajei, who generously made himself available to Celtic for the game.
The boys had a blast in a game which saw all the lads play from start to finish, and they were not surprisingly well and truly 'traochta amach' at the end. Well done to both teams for a great morning's entertainment. For some action
